Building a Safe & Faithful Community

Welcome to Sanctus! Our Community Guidelines, together with our Terms of Use, govern your relationship with and use of our Services. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and faith-centered environment for all members of our community.

By using Sanctus, you agree to follow these guidelines and help us maintain a positive space where everyone can grow in their faith journey.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age (or older if required by your country) to use Sanctus. If we discover an account belongs to someone under the age requirement, we will immediately delete the account.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

You may not create, post, share, or distribute content (including posts, prayers, comments, circle messages, or profile information) that:

  • •Is unlawful, obscene, pornographic, lewd, or sexually explicit
  • •Is libelous, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
  • •Promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
  • •Contains hate speech, bullying, or harassment
  • •Impersonates or misrepresents affiliation
  • •Contains spam, advertising, or solicitations
  • •Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • •Promotes illegal activities or substances
  • •Contains false or misleading information
  • •Invades privacy or shares confidential info

Respectful Interactions

Sanctus is a faith-based platform where believers from diverse backgrounds come together. We expect all members to:

Treat others with kindness, respect, and grace
Engage in constructive and uplifting conversations
Respect different denominations and theological perspectives
Use appropriate language in all posts, prayers, and messages
Be supportive and encouraging to those seeking spiritual guidance

Posts & Prayers

When sharing posts or prayers on Sanctus:

✓Ensure your content is genuine and reflects your honest experiences
✓Do not use posts for commercial advertising or self-promotion
✓Be mindful of sensitive topics and use appropriate content warnings
✓Respect others' prayer requests and provide supportive responses
✓Do not spam or repeatedly post similar content

Circles (Prayer Groups)

Circles are sacred spaces for faith communities. When participating in circles:

•Respect the privacy and confidentiality of circle discussions
•Follow the specific guidelines set by circle administrators
•Keep conversations focused on faith, prayer, and spiritual growth
•Do not use circles for dating, networking, or commercial purposes
•Report inappropriate behavior to circle administrators or Sanctus support

AI Features

Our AI features (Bible Chat, Spiritual Mentor, Dream Interpreter) are designed to support your spiritual journey. When using these features:

→Use them for genuine spiritual growth and biblical understanding
→Do not attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI systems
→Remember that AI guidance supplements, but does not replace, pastoral care
→Do not use AI features to generate harmful or inappropriate content

Account Security & Privacy

🔒Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
🔒Do not share your account with others
🔒Report any suspicious activity or security concerns immediately
🔒Use privacy settings to control who can view your content
🔒Do not attempt to access other users' accounts without permission

Prohibited Technical Activities

You may not:

✗Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of our Services
✗Use bots, automation, or unauthorized third-party applications
✗Interfere with or disrupt the functioning of our Services
✗Bypass security measures or rate limits
✗Scrape, data mine, or collect user information without authorization

Enforcement

Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:

Possible Actions

  • •Content removal or takedown
  • •Temporary account suspension
  • •Permanent account termination
  • •Restriction from certain features
  • •Legal action for serious violations

Your Rights

We reserve the right to take appropriate action without prior notice.

You may appeal moderation decisions through the app. In cases of disputes, we may keep certain details private to protect the integrity of our investigation process.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

1.Use the "Report" button on posts, comments, or profiles
2.Provide specific details about the violation
3.Our moderation team will review reports within 24-48 hours
4.You will be notified of the outcome (content removed, account action taken, etc.)
⚠Important: False or malicious reports may result in action against your account

Additional Responsibilities

As a member of the Sanctus community, you are solely responsible for your conduct and the content you share. You agree to:

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Respect intellectual property rights and proper attribution
Not use our Services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
Accept that Sanctus is not liable for user-generated content
